Message from the Dean

Dear School of Music community members,

We are all aware of the United States Supreme Court’s decisions in the Harvard and UNC-Chapel Hill cases regarding the consideration of race in admissions. I am linking to President Salovey’s letter to the community, and I share his concerns about the impact of these decisions. The School of Music will fully comply with these rulings while continuing to focus on each applicant’s potential for success and achievement in music within the rigorous structure of our programs.
